Mokunda Multi-purpose common initiative is a non-profit humanitarian social and economic empowerment group of women established since 1997, to enable women of the lower class in the society particularly the rural women start activities that generate income for themselves and to apply some of the proceeds in helping the poor,sick such as HIV infected people , vulnerable  and elderly people usually hospitalized.

our overall objectives is to  empower and promote women and youths. we encourage them to engage in income generating activities such as agriculture tree planting, farming in general.

Other activities may include fish mongering, Catering and Home management are other such activities we train them we also encourage volunteers, to come and contribute to the organization by providing their skills in any area they are interested.

We encourage women who have financial challenges  and desperate women to take their destiny in their hands by providing them with the forum that motivates them to use their talents and skills to engage them in income generating activities.

We share common resources as well as increase awareness of HIV and Aids amongst our members, and the public.We also identify those Living with HIV they are offered advice and support especially those already in critical situations, usually we provide to them moral support we assist them in their everyday activities as this patients are usually abandoned in the hospitals, with know one to care, so Mokunda multi purspose inititive group  assist in such endeavors as a social responsibility.
